Approach to Helping

I believe children and teens can overcome difficult times in their lives with the love and support from a trusted adult. Every person deserves a safe space to share their life and struggles without judgement. My approach to therapy is to build trust with my clients and help them develop their voice so they can find the right path for their lives. Childhood and adolescence can be confusing and difficult times. As a therapist, I strive to help my clients explore the challenges they are facing and understand their own strengths and abilities. In therapy, I will be your biggest cheerleader and someone who can hold space with you during difficult times. I have previous experience working with a variety of diverse and marginalized identities. I am ready to explore race, sexuality, gender, ability, neurodiversity, and cultural identities with my clients. Clients have described me as loving, funny, easy-going, non-judgmental, and encouraging.
