In the 17 years that I’ve been in Private Practice, I’ve had the opportunity to work with a variety of people around many different issues. What I’ve found is that, no matter how dire the situation, the human spirit is strong and resilient. Grant it, when you are looking into therapy, things may look pretty hopeless. Your world may be crumbling around you and hearing the words ‘strong and resilient’ seems like it applies to someone else.
My philosophy is that we must work as a team to mobilize your inner resources. I utilize Mindfulness, EMDR and DBT skills to assist in this process. Through exploration of current thought patterns and past belief systems, you will begin to find the strength to make the changes necessary to live a hopeful and fulfilling life.
