Mental Health Services Brought to Coloradans via Telehealth Regardless of Their Ability to Pay
Maria Droste Counseling Center has been providing mental health counseling services for 30 years, regardless of ability to pay. As of Monday, March 16, 2020, Maria Droste mental health professionals can now connect with clients in their homes, using a secure video platform.
CEO Dr. Sandra Mann states, “We are able to respond to the emerging mental health needs of our community because of our long-standing expertise in providing accessible, affordable, quality mental health care.
All of us are adjusting to an unprecedented situation, and many are experiencing a surge of anxiety, irritability, fear, and sadness. In this time of social distancing, it is more important than ever to maintain meaningful connections.
We have always aimed to break down barriers to care – finances, stigma, accessibility. Now we have the opportunity to expand our services and ensure accessibility all over Colorado through telehealth,” Mann says.
One of our clients recently shared, “Therapy has given me a safe outlet especially now that I’m stuck at home. I’m able to be a better parent and friend when I have the space to process what’s going on. Thank you to my Maria Droste therapist for being there when I needed extra support.”
Maria Droste Counseling Center accepts sliding scale, Medicaid, Medicare, and full-fee clients.
